The Assignment:
Select a drugstore brand that does not have "good" advertising currently and create a campaign for them.

The Objective:
Reintroduce Nerds on the candy market to a younger audience.

The Problem:
Nerds does not have good advertising in a market where Gen Z relies heavily on influence when it comes to their spending habits.

The Insight:
Things that are "nerdy" are actually popular and trendy amongst Gen Z.
Gen Z is bored with traditional flavors and wants to challenge their taste buds. They love bold flavors- including spicy food and unique flavor combinations (ex. takis, buffalo chicken mac and cheese, etc.)

The Idea:
Nerds candy is the perfect stimulating snack for all "nerd" adventures.

The Strategy:
Form a collaboration with Tajin to create new product offerings; Spicy Nerds Clusters + Spicy Nerds Pop.
Create a "nerd" trivia game feature on Twitch that can be launched during a live stream to give the host a break and keep viewers engaged.
Partner with trendy Tik Tok influencers to spread awareness about campaign in a humorous way.
